I have some good breed black and tan s here mostly Uglystick breeding and North Ohio Secret Weapon (Scooby) and Sniper !! Waterford Pa. 20 miles south of Erie Pa .

Sorry, It was early and the coffee hadn't cleared the fog out of my head yet. Of course you would have been at the top of my list!! I thought about farther out of NY, when I was typing, but I was thinking in Western NY state and along the border in PA is what they were interested in.

I will say this if this person is willing to travel, don't overlook the GRNTCH PR SNIPER dog North of Pittsburgh. He is overlooked a lot, because for some reason the people who have females are looking for the hottest newbie that won a hunt or placed high. It doesn't say much about the line of dogs and characteristics that are the first, second, third, and forth generations back, that keep coming forward in the pups. A person needs to make the right decisions to align the ancestors before they produce a batch of Fad pups. GRNTCH PA SNIPER for instance is out of GRNTCH PA Junior who was from a cross out of a male GRNTCH PR Bauers KS JR X a GNTCH Hanna female out of GRNTCH SetumUp ACE. JR was out of GRTNCH PR Dark Hollow Hobo's Hoss and GRNTCH PR Bauers KS Jewell ( a sister to GRNTCH PR Nelsons Northern Rex, who are out of GRNTCH PR NELSONS NORTHERN BUCK). This is pretty topshelf.

So then you look at Sniper's mother. She was out of GRNTCH PR Warrior's Heart Attack Jack (who was out of GRNTCH National Gr Nt ch Whitakers Smokey II) crossed to GRNTCH PR Bauer's KS Gem. (Littermate to KS Jr.) So if you know the dogs and their traits behind the intended sire, what would you expect to get? A high concentration of the traits that come with GEM, JR, Jewell, Rex dogs of common sense, track speed, good temperament, independence and good tree dogs. GRNTCH Dark Hollow Hobo's Hoss adds a bit more tree and layup capability. Whitacker's Smokey II (whose mother or grandmother connects to World Ch Nelsons Buck II's father if I recall) adds a little style, speed, and heart. Then Setem up ACE being Sniper's grandfather; like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get, but if you get the right mix from ACE you get loud mouth, hard tree, and a lot of coon killing desire.

With the Movie "SNIPER" that just came out it is an OMEN to all you guys that want some strong Black dogs, go get some of this and start picking off those Holsteins one at a time and start winning world hunts!! lol Get the right logic on your crosses and you will start down the path of righteousness, then the qualifier win, then the zone win, and then the UKC World Ch.

Dave this is Matt Clark I've been going to the hunts and have yett to see another black dog at one been as far west as sinclairsville and south as far as wysox pa , I have been doing a good dog knocking this Holsteins out in the hunts 3 first place to make rambler nite ch, 675 plus, 200 plus and 425 plus haven't had a close one yett this spring my goal was to finish him before leaves were on to nite ch now this fall will get grand nite he is a tough cookie because 1. Not very often does he make a mistake 2. Deadly accurate 3. Idk as if you could put enough pressure on him and will be alone 80% of time 4. You better have some track speed or he will make you look dumb all night long

Glad to hear you got her bred. Is it to the same as Addy`s father or a son out of him. Please don`t misunderstand my term of "Fad of the month". If yu watch posts that are "WHO TO BREED TO" it is interesting the names that come up of dogs that just placed in a hunt and then you never see them again. What you have been breeding your female to isn`t in that category and his ancestory is pretty solid and proven.

Matt Clark is a competition hunter and would do good with a pup from Penny, she is a really nice hound and reproduces well.

Sniper and GRNITECH Pa Junior, but what about a hound like GRNITECH' CH' PR' JONES' STATELINE COLE, its a tad further south near pittsburgh but he goes back to hounds like NITECH'PR' JONES' NORTHERN THUNDER, GRNITECH' PR' NELSON'S NORTHERN REX and DUAL GR' PR' CYPRESS BRAKE SETUM UP ACE

The hounds id really like are hounds out of track down dogs or off Willard prey hounds or ted feelers or Donnie eglis stuff , I'm not bashing or bad mouthy these other dogs but a lot of the dogs I see at the hunts that are off a lot of these really big name studs aren't what I want not satin there bad dogs by no means so I hope no one takes it personal , for instance I drew out a black hawk dog three weeks ago an was not one bit impressed slower than death on track slick treed at the end on its own hell of a track dog but nothing I would load in my dog box, I more or less made this post so I could hunt with some more hounds off some other strains of dogs to see how they looked against my dog to see how they stacked up because the black hawk dog is only other black dog I have seen at the hunts this year so far.... No one take it personL like I said before

Sounds like you have a nice hound there with some great ancestors. I don't think the public is aware of your GRNTCH, so you need to get a picture out there on the Stud dog page for B&T's as well as put an ad in the B&T Yearbook and let us all know what he does in the woods, mouth, tracking ability, temperament , and all of that. And if you already have advertised and I don't know of him, sorry its because I don't get on here a lot due to hours of my job and a new wife. lol

Thanks for that dave , I have a gentleman that has a track down bred female and another female a man has that's bred off bill macks dogs pretty hard that want to breed to my male so I'm going to stick with that I really like what I have so going to just stick with that.
