This is Super Sonny.........

A direct son of Southern Farms Bocephus (Bo)
by a direct daughter of Makers Mark/

Makers Mark was a direct son of Wagers Stylish Lipper by a littermate to Nocturnal nailor.

Bo was a direct son of Bark by a Fletchers Jake female.
he is located in North Miss about 30 minutes from Memphis, tn.
He is loud, has been a coondog from six months on. started running and treeing at 3.5 months old and never stopped.
Been straight his whole life.

There isnt a walker stud bred like this living.
Marks mother was by a lipper female so Sonny is dripping in lipper blood.

He also won the Best male of show at the Mississippi state hunt as a year old. he is now six. Was competition hunted a hand full of times and lacks just a place to be nt. ch.
so with one hunt he will be a dual ch.
You can pm me and Ill put you in touch with his owner.
I dont own a hair on sonny or get anything from this. I just recognize a good reproducer when I see one.
I bred to sonny once when he was young and he produced pups that ran and treed before they were four months old.

I will be breeding something to him as soon as I can.

Hey guys......

I highly recommend Sonny as a stud dog. A few times you will see me recommending a dog or posting a stud dog ad for someone who either doesnt know how or doesnt get on here in that capacity. If I put my stamp of approval on a stud its because I believe in them.
I have super high standards for a stud dog.
Intelligence, good mouth, balanced, well bred, good looks, with good confirmation.
If I find a dog that has that and has proven themselves that they can reproduce the same, I have no trouble puting my voice behind them.
I have bred the same line of dogs for 34 years now and in that time there were 9 stud dogs picked for my crosses. Thats almost a cross every 4 years. It took me that long to find something that suited me in every catagory I just listed. If they were failing in anyone of those especially intelligence I didnt breed to them.
Look at that picture of Sonny right in his eyes. You will see intelligence...you can see the looks, you can see the confirmaiton...you will have to hunt with him to see his balance and mouth. He has a mouth second to no dog.

Give Sonny a chance if you live in North Miss, west tn or eastern ark. You will be glad you did.
I have seen first hand what he can reproduce. Sonny was a freak of nature and produced a freak of nature on his first cross.

If you like lipper blood and bark/skuna river blood here he is.

congrats to John Walker....of SFwalkers

finished his 2 year old grandson to Bo...sonnys dad to Nt. ch last nite. Jeb is one heck of a young hound. you better bring your A game when you draw Jeb...he just trees coons period. jebs mom is penny a half sister to Sonny. he is direct off of Bone collector and a daughter to Bo.
Way to go John. Proud of you bubba.

Mr.Stevenson nice looking hound.He should reproduce some nice ones. It looks like North Mississippi is full of some nice Studs if you like Skuna River line of dogs.

Of course Mr. Whimp Aaron starter and keeper of the Skuna River dogs is just 30 plus miles from me.
You have Sonny and John Walker and his Dad Ed who have kept some of the nicest coondogs for well over 40 plus years.
there are more all around me that hunt super nice dogs. Most are pleasure hunters that keep a coondog. A few hunt the local and some state hunts. John just placed in the top 10 of the Winter classic with just a yearling dog out of Bone and his line of dogs.
There's a Lock box/Boots male that is as tough a coondog as any man owns that lives just 10 miles from me and he is a dual champion and was winning hunts before a year old.
So yea we are blessed down here for sure.

Ive bred to several of these dogs when they didnt have titles and even when they did. They produced coondogs either way.

If any of you had gone hunting with Sonny when he was 3.5 months old you would have offered 20 grand for him on the spot.

I saw this pup run and tree two coons and run a jump out coon out of hearing and stayed treed for well over an hour while we tried to get to them. At 3 months and two weeks old. The kicker is he started running and treeing the week before. I had my cousin bring him up for me to see for myself. I just thought maybe he was just me-tooing with an old Dog. Nope.....that cat was treeing no matter what the old dog was doing. When He produced a pup that was 3.5 months old that struck a track by himself and ran it out of hearing I knew he could reproduce freaks just like he was a freak.
Sonny never not ever took a step back. Many wonder kids, super freaks etc that start out like that usually flame out. Sonny only got better and better.
You should have seen the kinds of tracks him and his littermate brother could run when they were 7 or 8 months old. I mean tracks veteran dogs would lose. They just would not quit until they treed the coon period.

he is a special dog.

There is some very high hopes out of the double Bark pups that I sent you the video of. There will be a repeat cross made on him and the pups will be double Bark and double Fred. There is 3 out of the first cross that can't be bought at 14 months old.

Coondog for sure

I have the pleasure of hunting sonny at this time. He set in a kennel for 2 weeks while I was working long hours and trying to keep a young pup in the woods. First night back out 2 for 2 in an hour. Stay put tree dog that you can hear! He will be hunted in a few hunts the next couple weeks and hope to get him nitech then get him to the rqe and see where he goes.

I hope to try and hunt with sonny

in the next couple of weeks..me and my hunting buddy have been real busy.
He was the most freakish young pup I have seen in 50 years of hunting.

And the crazy thing is he threw the same thing. I had a pup off him that could blast a tree wide open at 4 months old and could run a track like he was tied to the coons trail. Never hunted him with an old dog. the pup just came into the world knowing what to do.
I have seen bird dogs point robins and blue jays at three and 4 months old and sonny and his offspring were just like that. Their DNA made them run, track and tree a coon as soon as they were big enough to get over a log.
You dont see that stuff every day or every year as a matter of fact.

Had a bad call in a hunt Thursday night sonny did his part and looked good. Got a ukc win last night that is his second first in his last three hunts including a walker sectional.

sonny out to Nt. ch. and makes him a dual champion.
Talked with Mr. Walker who you beat last nite and he was very complimentary of Sonny. Liked everything about him. Mouth, hard hunting and solid, solid tree dog.

I'm trying to get you some females lined up for him. got a couple showing interest and Ill breed my main female if she comes in around August when she is due.

Boys....sonny is a super nice coondog. He is just a solid hound. No miss barks, no junk, none of that "Well he's never donethat before stuff" He is mr. consistent.

Im a big sonny fan. Come on boys...yall need to breed some of those good females to Sonny. He is a winner and a proven reproducer...Not a maybe reproducer...how many dogs living do you know that can reproduce pups that can run and tree a coon at 3 and 5 months old? Im not exaggerating...I have seen it and owned them out of sonny that would do that.
