Tritronics G3 trashbreaker???

I'm borrowing a G3 trashbreaker and have a couple questions? First, is it supposed to tone the the collar if you choose one of the number simulations? This one is. Two I can't get any simulation out of it, but it will beep. The light on the transmitter is Amber color, will that keep it from shocking?

mine tones on the t,green on the transmitter.are they communicating.

This G3 is toning on every setting. I have a G2 and it only tones on the "T".

your right mine a g2 about the only problem I have had is the bottom of the transmitter will come unscrewed from time to time.
