I looked up some threads about Speck , I bumped one up but another was locked/closed by the UKC I guess . Anyway Speck made Gr.Nt. as a Walker and as an English and as far as I know Hardtime Speck was his name in both breeds .

I always assumed it was under the same name..............but Dave might be right.
im not sure if there were 2 different names or if he just single registered under the same name he had as a walker.
I do know the reason they did it was because walker breeders snubbed him over having too many "ticks" so he said fine and went English.
in any case it wasn't that long a stretch after the breeds had been separated. what 20-30some years? still close enough for some dogs in each breed to show common breeding anyway.
