OK Kellam its Derby time agian
picks?
I love the field this year, I think I counted at least 6 Tapit colts (a Pulpit son/ A. P. Indy grandson out of an Unbridled mare
)
I ALWAYS go with something that has Unbridled in its blood, and the field is loaded with it.
place your bets gentlemen.

Think Kellam is out gobbling with the turkeys today.
I'm putting $10 on a Tri-fecta bet.
American Pharoah to win. Gary Stevens to place with Firing Line and Dortmund to show.
Might be a tall order for AP starting on the outside but thinking he'll get it done.
Good luck with all your bets.

Haha. Yeah, I was actually on Firing Line with Dortmund to place and Materiality to show. Had little faith in Frosted but he did better than I gave him credit for. Good race. AP was impressive.
it was a good race, and I have to give AP credit for coming from an outside post to win..........not to mention running Dortmund and the others to the ground in the process.
I think the horse was actually still gaining ground to the wire.
my push for Frosted was more a push for the bloodline and sire than the horse himself. I really wanted to see a Tapit colt run for the crown..........sort of reminded me of the Secretariat days and Bold Ruler. Super sire having a colt win it all type of deal. Lends itself to my "breeder" mentality I guess lol.
I know given a top TB mare and 300k to spare, there is only 1 stud barn I would want to drive her too.
