Wick Box Light (Help)
Help, I have a old John Wick box light I thought I would put a new battery in it and let one of our youth members use or have it. I open it up and pulled out old battery and there is NO volts/amps listed anywhere, I believe it was a 21 volt when I bought it. any help or advice would be greatly Appreciated. (And best place to get a battery to replace with.)
I have a old wick box light too. When I bought it it had the best burn time in the book. I keep it for a backup it has never left me in the dark. I'm thinking mine is an 18 volt, not a 100% sure though. As far as battery replacement I'm not sure where to go. You could try sending John Wick a message on here and maybe he could help you out. I know he has someone that post on here for him. Hope you find a battery for it. And I think its a great thing to do to for the youth.

I believe there 17 volt. I had one replaced up town at my local battery specialist a few years ago and I believe it cost around $100
I think it's 17 volt I got one iv had since I started hunting got a new battery put in mine at battery's plus and haven't had any problems.
I may be wrong but I think you can just count the batteries and multiply # of batteries times 1.5 volts..... not 100% on that but sounds familiar.... good luck
I'm pretty sure you can get replacement batteries for it I have an old box light that is 17 volts with C size batteries use a CB 10X bulb and its very bright and has got to be 15 years old.......
Where do you get the cb 10x bulbs at. I always used 12v32 in mine
I really don't remember same place I got the 12 v32 bulbs from and I usually stock up on stuff like that at Grand American Don't remember specific dealer though . You will occasionally blow one but they are a bit brighter

$100.00, Batteries +bulbs will build new battery pack and wire it up so everything works. Said it will be ready first of next week. Thanks for the reply's.
There's a guy round here saling those Chinese mining lights for 20-30$. They are just A little behind my hot spot, and my buddy's sunfirelight. I know a guy who hunts with one and it stays up all night and weighs hardly nothing. It also has a large halo for walking. Anyone looking to get a youth hunter a light search the internet for em

The old WICK light is a 16+ volt light. I can repack them here the cost is $120.00 and I put a 3 year warranty on the battery. While it is in here I will also go through the light and make sure everything is working. If you have any questions please feel free to call the shop at 800-338-0144. I have worked with Blazer for many years, and repacked several of the old WICK lights.
Thanks, Tammy Groves
