no, festus was a german wirehaired pointer.everyone likes the crosses of the gsp on hounds & curs,there is an alternative sp, though no one wants long haired curs or feist

todd he really didn't look to bad. I should have brushed him down good before making the pic.
I don't own festus now, we don't have birds anymore,or I would try a cross just to see how they would turn out.
