If you want the actual picture itself to show on the post you have to copy the url to the right of the photo of your dog and paste it on the post. You want the one that has the "img" beside it. You can do it as an edit to the previous post or reply in another one and put it there.

Another pointer for you; When you do what we're saying you'll still just see the address appear in your message box but if you click message preview you'll see it is going to appear on your post.
I don't know why this stuff has to be so complicated but it really is easy once you get it down pat. LOL
