Memorial hunt, looking for ideas
My name is Barbara Orcutt, I'm currently the president of the Monadnock Sportsmens Association in Swanzey NH. This year we have decided to hold a memorial hunt for my father Steve Orcutt on June 27th. He passed away unexpectedly on June 25 last year after suffering a heart attack while working at the club by himself. Maybe it's selfish of me, but I really want to make this memorial hunt special because my dad was my world and he was such a huge part of our clubs success. I'm looking into having t shirts made on my dime to sell for the event, but Im at a loss as to what to put on them. I'm wondering if anyone else has any ideas or what has been used in the past for memorial hunts. Thank you
Just off the top of my head; If you have any pics of your dad showing off his best dog have that depicted on the front or back with the wording of the memorial hunt, the year, and your fathers born and decest dates encircling the picture.
There is a hunt that is pretty big locally here (It drew 59 etries for the night hunt last year) called "The Little Mountain Music Hunt" they have ball caps made up that they sell plus you get one free with your entry. I see atleast a few guys wearing those hats at every hunt I go to for the rest of the year which is giving them great publicity for the next years hunt.
Thank you so much for your input! Any idea who does the hats for that hunt? I looked through the vendors page but didn't have much luck finding one that prints special order shirts and the local places around me don't have much to choose from for a hound type logo to go with our club name.
your best bet is to have some one whip up a design for you in photoshop...then go to your local screen printing shop and have them printed
