is there much difference in downloading on high vs highest as far as you looking at it on the alpha
In my opinion as far as detail goes NO. Usually I am not zoomed in tight enough to need the extra detail. As far as time it takes to download and file size high is much faster and more coverage than highest. Standard resolution is worthless. I went with high and am happy with it.

Thanks

This one of those questions that is going to be one opinion compared to another opinion. Guess it depends on how young your eyes are also.
I use nothing but the highest and me and an employee had this same discussion two days ago.
Here is what you can and should do to form your own opinion.
Download a small block on base camp of High and then a small block of Highest. Zoom in and out on your computer and if you can live with High go with it. If you see a difference with the Highest then that may be for you.
When downloading if you can eliminate the cities it goes much faster. I downloaded about 30,000 acres of just woods in just a couple minutes and then did about 5,000 acres with a lot of houses around it and it took like 15 minutes.
I think they are improving it all the time and it seems to work much better now than it did when it first came out.
