Entry deadline time question.

If a club post, the Entry Deadline Time for 6:00 PM.
Do they have the right to wait for someone to show up 30 minutes late to take their entry fee?

now with that said, a conditional entry can be taken by phone call to anyone on the grounds. As long as the entry is paid for by deadline, it is good. Second part of this is the person who called it in needs to be ready to go by the time cards are drawn and casts called out. There is no set time on how long a cast must wait for someone to get there.

No entry may be taken after deadline time in UKC at all. The other registries allow a club to wait if they want to, or extend a deadline 30 minutes. It is really a crock when you get down to the gist of it. Why hold up all the other folks who was there on time? Yes I know things happen along the way, but it has been the experience of this entry taker, that about 90% of the time, it's the same one wanting the deadline extended.
