Boots

Okay I know this has been wore out on here. But I have wore out 3 pairs of lacrosse boots in one year. The last 2 pair the sole has actually started falling off. Can't see spending 130+ $$ on a pair of boots to wear out in a few months. Now I only hunt about 5 nights a week and its not to hard. So what will hold up??? Below is a picture of what's going on. These boots lasted about 3.5-4 months. They feel great but just don't last.

They are called Bekina's . Very light wieght and comfortable , all one piece construction & are made from polyurithaine not pvc 3 mo so far so good on boot , Dan's chap has 3 holes , go with the Badlands if you hunt alot of under brush and briars . Order Bama socks if you don't already wear them you will never be without them again . Bekina's are cold in winter , they will tell you they are warm down to 20 degrees , they are not . They are excellent anytime it's not been below freezing temps . Bekina does make the same boot in a thermalite version rated for up to -40 too but you would have to order them some other place and send to get chaps maybe Sunfire will have them by next winter .
Here's the down fall they are $199 if the boot will hold up it will be worth it .

I'm a very hard on boots but after 2 years had to throw the mucks away I must have gotten lucky with them but I've changed to the Grub boots with Dan chaps on them I like them so far but I can done tell this summer I'll have to wear shorts with them they will burn you up

What do you guys do with your boots? LOL. I must just be lucky because I try to hunt 4 to 5 nights a week. It is usually in some pretty rugged country with lots of briars and jagged rocks and I haven't had any trouble out of boots really to amount to anything. I have had a pair of Muck Muckmasters for 5 years and only problem is material in the heel wore out after about a year. Which is very aggravating but doesn't make them non-usable. I bought a pair of Lacrosse Aeroheads because they seemed to have better ankle support for me. They are about a year old and the heel has wore in them too but after buying the Bama socks it is no longer a problem. If I would've discovered the Bama socks before the Lacrosse boots I would still be wearing the Muck boots all the time.

Lacrosse are junk,,my brother has a new pair,,,doesn't have more than 10 hrs on them,,and mild hunting terrain,,flat land and no brush or anything,,just open land,,and lastnight while hunting,we were in a foot of water going to the dogs,,,and he found out that they are leaking,,that is bull,,,I have mucks,,bought them at A.O's back in 2010,and I must say I haven't had 1 single thing go wrong with them,,,and by the looks of them,,I still have many more miles left on them to goBeen reading a lot about the good results on the sunfire boots,,think my next pair I will try them

Just bought a pair of Quattro. They are the most comfortable boot I have put on. They have a beefed up insole that your feet sink into. I have mine with Badlands chaps. Had them about a month and so far they are great.

get away from the coon hunting boots and buy some ROCKY boots never thought I would spend $200 on a pair of boots, but going on my 3rd year with them and the only pair of boots I have found that keeps my feet warm sitting in the deer stand for 3 hours at a time.

i'm got a same issue with boots. got a pair of lacrosse aeroheads i started wearing this past october and have worm them 4-5 days week deer rabbit and coon hunting. i notice some wear in the heel but last night went to put them on and they feel like an entirely different boot. Could not even wear them because they were so loose on one foot. At this point could a pair of the bama socks even help? just was reading about them about two weeks ago? So i'm in market for a new pair, dont need some with waders just boots for use as i wear them for all hunting seasons. what are they suggestions? thanks
