So with the new DNA testing UKC will be using that isn't compatible with the other kc, will you continue performancing your dogs?

Something to think about...

The new system isn't capable with the old....... there is going to have to be a huge cross over data based created to reference old DNA testing with the new. So now I question the relevance of the passed DNA testing going forward with the new. To me this is nothing but for money. One would think there would have been a notice prior instead of a sudden change.

i think this is a dumb move by ukc you have to get your hound dna to ss them I normally just do it all then and switch to ukc with the dna I have im not doing it twice the performance program isn't worth that much to me they need to figure out something or there going to lose a lot of money in the performance program

We go to a UKC nite hunt hoping our work will show off, get a win maybe get a title, that title will show up on UKC papers many times over if the dog is bred just one time, then we get a little jingle in our pockets from UKC every spring, evan if it's only worth a 6 pack of diet dews an a pack of Red man im ok with that or you could just give it to your local charity!

Time to brain storm and ukc come up with a pup program that will work. This is no pup program except when it was first thought of. It is like it says it is. A performance dog program. Really and truly. It does nothing at the local level because we have less and less coon hunters every yr. A real pup program. Could possibly draw dogs.
