Bboa Zone 5 Events 2015

These are the dates for all Zone 5 Events for 2015. I will update information as it is confirmed. Cody Smith is working on the Tennessee hunts. Please contact him or me if your club is interested in holding any events. Cody Smith (423)519-7166. We still need a club in NC to hold the State Championship. If any club is interested please contact me. Please get out and support these events! Let's make this a banner year for Zone 5! Be sure to make plans to attend Bluetick Days as this is the first year since 1989 that is has been held within Zone 5.

The BBOA Virginia state championship is in the books and quite a success.
We had 18 dogs in the show and 47 in the hunt on Friday. 22 in the show and 52 in the hunt on Saturday.
I would like to thank all that came out and supported BBOA and the Monticello coon hunters.
I would also like to personally thank Russell Hamm and the Monticello coon club for all their hard work in putting on a first class event.
Thanks also to Wayne hooker (zone 5 BOD) for being there to represent zone 5 taking pics and selling memberships.
Based on this event I think we are off to a good start for 2015.

We also had our first sectional of the year in Raeford NC
The Sandra Gruzeski memorial hunt.
The weather didn't cooperate with us on this one and had entries down from the usually good turn out. That didn't keep the Rock fish coon club from putting forth their normal great effort to put on a nice event.

I will be updating the list of dates and locations soon as I'm expecting the rest of the contracts any day now and will try and put pics of the winners on here as well.
Let's get out and support all the hunts in our zone and we can duplicate the great numbers that we had in Virginia.

just updated the list to announce date and location of the N.C. state (BBOA)

Zone 5 and the Piedmont Coon club is working on special prizes to be given away at this hunt in addition to the usual awards presented to the King and Queen of hunt and show. Keep posted here for details as they are confirmed.
