Lost a very special one

My daughter to Nichols Tree Spike. Ntch Barbers Hardtime Mawley passed away yesterday. She was fine when I left for work and came home and she was gone. I know she lived a long life but she was more than just a hound this dog was one of my best friends ! She will be greatly missed and never replaced. I'm just glad I have sassy out o her and Slammer to carry on the tradition of the many great nights I followed her In the woods. Seems we are never ready for it when it happens. Remember to enjoy those special hounds every chance you get. Thanks for reading

Sorry for your lose Dion. Them ole hounds seem to find a special place in our hearts and become part of the family. I know Mawley brought you many good nights and created some great memories you will always remember. Keep your head up bud she is one you will always be proud to have had.

Sorry for your loss buddy. I know how these special dogs are, and no one is ever ready for it when they pass. Just look back on those good nights and be thankful you have sassy to carry on maws genes. If you need anything let me know.

She was special and means alot to hear words of encouragement, first great one ive ever lost i wish i could have pushed her more but all i can do now is push her daughter and grandaughter and savor the memories. thanks again!

Yeah I can name a lot of good hunts with almost everyone that's commented on here. One of the best ones I can remember is when I decided to make her Ntch she was a lil over 9 years old and most of the guys thought she was a dinosaur lol untill I made her Ntch in 3 straight casts she seemed to know what had to be done to win And thanks tim for talking me into bringing her back out and pushing her in the hunts.

That was the night we beat tim and Shawn wasn't it. I think maw treed 4 and a den that night and Suzie slammed 5 and was a lil quicker than maw and beat her on the last dump But a fun night for sure

Tim I'm glad you got one out of her too because I know you will push her. We had some good nights with her and slammer for sure.

Kyle I know you have seen some good work out of her her and Louie and spiff looked good a few nights. Then her and crow they both looked good a few nights.

Doug we had some good nights too I remember when her and Le went forever and split and maw had a root stuck in the roof of her mouth and luckily you had some pliers lol

Jerimiah I know you never got the chance to hunt with her but you will get to follow sassy for a while

Eric I think we drew out together in a few Pkc hunts one night she even drew out with her brother.

Everyone else thanks again for the kind words !!

I want to thank Scott engle for selling maw to me when she was around 15 months old I think she was the last english hound he had before the Mojo days.
