Maroon Effect Kennels

I was introduced to this breed during my senior year of college at VT. I started hunting with a group known as the VA Cartel 3-4 nights a week, which has led me down a road that I have come to really enjoy and more friendships than I could have ever possibly imagined. Buck gave me my first red pup as a graduation present going on 4 years ago, that pup is now FCH GRNITECH GRCH ‘PR’ Bunch’s Maroon Effect Autumn HTX. I have had the opportunity to travel the country meeting new people, hunting with great dogs, and occasionally win in some competitions. This thread will be used to show some of the hounds here at Maroon Effect Kennels and crosses that are being made here. I have all intentions of producing high quality Redbones that can win in competition, on the bench, and catch big game.

I got to hunt him with Tom and Dave one night in WI and was really impressed with his style of hunt and what a mouth. But before I got a female to him he was breathing air out East---

Don't know all of the bottom side, but know Larry's Thunder was a very good reproducer from a good line.

I got a female pup from BB out of Haze and his Rose dog. She was 4 months when I got her and is 9 months old now and has turned it on. I think she will tree me many coons for years to come. He is an outstanding guy that knows what it takes to breed good coon dogs. Can't wait to see what he has next. Keep up the good work.

BB, you sure have accomplished a lot in 4 short years. It must be that college education. Do you have a Masters Degree in Coonhunting? You need to get a Doctorate like Dr Mike Laster.

Well a few crosses have crossed my mind. First Train will be bred to Autumn when she comes in heat in the next couple of months. Yes I have learned alot in 4 years and did some how manage to get my Masters at the same time. The PE is the last thing on my list. I dont need a Dr. degree I think I have had just about enough schooling.

Well I was glad to hear Beamer got 2nd last night. It won't be long before he is nitech. Beamer's littermate brother Frank is headed to a hunt tonight. Hopefully he will get it don't and make em see red.

Nice young man with great hounds to boot. I had the opportunity to hunt with Autumn one night at Plott days in Tell City IN. We had a great hunt and Autumn looked really good and won the cast. Autumn has a high pitched yip on track with a triple chop locate and a hard steady chop on tree.
