How much has she been in the woods? Has she been hunted with other dogs?

Well I was gonna say she may not be comfortable in the woods yet but that knocks that one out.

I've never hunted a redbone but I have heard they sometimes start slow. Good luck with her.

What was your hunting like with her all this time? Did you just let her follow you along and keep walking? If so it may be man made. She may be doing what you led her to believe was what you wanted.
Not many three month olds are going to go out hunting. If you took her out often as a pup, you might have inadvertently trained her to walk with you. Remember, dogs learn by repetition.

best thing to do with a young dog is if ==you have a place like a farmer let her run loose until she starts getn gamey and wonders of to far ==an then put her up for about a week or 2 and take her huntn

have one here that acted the same way till about 15 months. Wouldn't even go with another dog .Was ready to cull him .One nite I took him with my old gyp and he ran and treed with her . Hes now past 2 now and hunts good with another dog but by his self wont hunt out more than 80-90 yards . It is what it is. Some just don't seem to have the drive alone.
