Question about Youth Nationals.

In reading about the changes to the Youth National Championship this year, I am wondering what is the place of the Youth National Qualifiers anymore? Are you still having the qualifiers and if so, what are their purpose since qualifying is no longer required?

Youths are no longer required to "qualify" by placing at another youth event so we wouldn't consider those events as "qualifiers" anymore. However, any youth events still has an important purpose which is; an event for youth only. If a youth event was being held for the sole purpose of qualifying a youngster for the Nationals then it's probably not being held for the most important reasons.

We have never been to this event but are planning on bringing some SC youth this year.

I know that they will learn a lot from this. Thank you to everyone who puts this event on. I know first hand that its not an easy task.

Cleo, tell your youth we'd love to have them come! And we'll do out best to put on a great event for them.

Thanks Allen. I just wanted to make sure the events scheduled as qualifiers are still on the schedule even though they are no longer qualifiers and it looks like they are.

We traveled all over to these hunts when my kids were young. It was great to hunt with them and just to visit during the trip.

one more year and my grand will be old enough to participate and we'll be making a trip. I can't wait. Went last year and had a great time.
