Any good tips on training my pup.. I have a old dog to run her with

If it's a good old dog, and not ill at the tree I'd make use of it to get your pup started. Once the pup gets the idea though I wouldn't lean on the old dog to hard. Get your pup out there by itself and make it do the work it's self. They can get used to being a follower pretty quick. IMO
