Lowell Stewart on here raised a litter sired by Rattler. He can give some info I'm sure. He hunted with Rattler also. The female he owns and hunts now is out of Rattler. I believe she is a Grand Show Champ and Nite champ. I owned a sister to her for awhile.

Isn't Rattler, and Cindy both out of Bob?

Lost Creek Hoss,or Bocephous would be good choices if you don't go with the half brother, sister cross.

(The Good)
Rattler goes hunting when cut loose, opens when he smells coon, moves a track well, pretty quick locate and nice treedog! The pups outta Rattler and Penny were good colored, good conformation, decent to good mouths, early starters, and natural ability. Naturally straight. Most of all what I liked was their "desire" to do something!!!! And yes, my "Jane" gyp is outta that cross. Didn't all make it, but a good percentage did. At least the ones I know of that were given a "chance", made decent hounds.

(The Bad)
If you are prone to beat and thump on dogs when they mess up, better keep on looking!! They can't take it! Little bit of correction goes a long ways.
