need help

ive got a 2 and a half male dog that wont stay treed been doing it for about 9 months now. Some nights he stays others he might tree for 2 minutes or 2 hours you never know.He used to be a stay put tree dog but now i have no idea how long hes gonna stay i know of 3 trees he has left that had coons in them the only 3 ive walked 2 that he left any help would be appreciated
