He is a good looking hound. I have hunted hounds out of some of the dogs in his pedigree a few years back. They were good hounds. Good luck with him.
Looks like a well built hound, looks good on the bench and the tree.

How old is Rocky? I may be interested in using him as a stud in the future.

Has Rocky sired a litter of pups yet? If so, how are they doing?
He's had two litters the first litter was awesome there were a quiet a few out the first litter doing it on there own by 2 years old the second litter is only like 6 months old an the ones that are getting hunted are running drags an teeing on dead coons
Sounds good. I may contact you in the spring to set up a hunt. I would like to see him go. A friend of mine has a female that is doubled up on the same bloodline as Rocky.
That's fine I stop hunting around mid April cause in the spring an summer I work for a produce farm so I work 7 days a week so If you can do it before then that'd be great
Rocky
It was good to speak with you the other day about Rocky. I did not realize it at the time but my hunting buddy's female had just started to come in heat when we were speaking. I spoke with him about Rocky and he liked what I told him about Rocky. I think he wants to breed her this time. She is not yet ready but I will contact you very soon about breeding her to Rocky. She has a lot of the same blood as Rocky.
Sounds good just give me a holler boss!
.
Rocky was a very nice looking hound when I saw him in person. He looks like a hound should. He also has a nice bawl mouth. In my opinion, Rocky should have your close consideration when choosing a stud. He is bred very well on both sides of his pedigree. I am looking forward to hunting a pup out of him. I hope our female took.
Yah think that cross will be good Gary can't wait to see the pups hit the dirt! Took the old man out last night looked at two coons with him an someone that had a pup out of his second litter! They both ran it well!
I think it could be very good. Both Rock and Lucy are bred similar. The pups will be line bred on coonhounds that have the traits I like. I just hope she took.
You bluetick enthusiasts should take a close look at Rocky as a stud.
.
Lucy is due tomorrow. She is big and ready to have her puppies out of Rocky any day now. I will keep you updated when she delivers them.
Good looking hound! Nice old blood up close!

Thank you sir!
Our Lucy female just gave birth to 12 pups out of Rocky yesterday. All seem to be doing just fine. She is bred very similar to Rocky. We are looking forward to this cross.
Hello Kyle,
I just wanted to give you a update on Rocky x Lucy pups. They are all doing well and will be weaned this week.
That's good news glad to hear all 11 are doing well!
All of the pups out of our litter of Rocky x Lucy have been placed in their new homes except for two. Their owners will be picking them up at a later date. One is going to Mississippi, and the other to Kentucky. The rest of the pups are staying in West Virginia. My male out of the cross looks a lot like Rocky.
