The Winter Classic was great!

Wow is a good way to describe it!!! The Leopards did a fine Job on the Bench as well as out in the woods!!!!!!!!!! I must say the folks who are putting in the time and money going to these hunts is doing a great job showcasing what these Leopards can do. I know we didn't win in the top as far as placing go but I'm very proud to say percentage wise our Leopards led the way when you think that only 4 Leopards hunted on Sat night and out of the 4 out in the woods 3 won their cast with plus points so to me that says alot you can only beat who you draw out with and where you go drives the train as in the number of coon you score on so overall they did a fine job! So CONGRATS TO ALL!

The Leopards are showing they also are tough on the Bench! In fact I would say the ones that were showed were as tough as most anything else on the bench. I saw quite a few folks gathering around some of the winners and discuss future breedings and getting into them.

I would like to thank everyone who came by the Booth and spent time visitng and just hanging out it goes to show how strong we are as a whole and sure helps pass the time to. The ALBA is still growing and we signed up quite a few folks and renewed a bunch to so thanks everyone.

And a special thanks goes out to Ralpha and Adena for all the help with the booth! They make a great team and to think Ralph won our Leopard World Hunt in 2013 and Adena has won just about all there is to win on the bench with her dog! I wouldn't wanna compete with either of them either on the Plywood or Hardwood!

Thank you! It was an incredibly humbling experience and we didn't even expect it. We just went in to see who was going to win overall and I took Nugget in so he wouldn't have to stay in the dog box before our 9 hour drive. We got in a little early to talk to some people and as they were listing off the dogs who needed to be in the arena they called off Nugget and we were stunned!
Mr. Vanderhoff came up and spoke to us also and having the chance to meet and talk to him was awesome to say the least, it was an overall great weekend! We learned a lot, saw old friends as well as making new ones, got to show Nugget for the second time and seeing Dad's face when they called up Nugget for high scoring ALH male was absolutely priceless.
Couldn't have taken a trophy home if it wasn't for an outstanding breed association, when membership dues roll back around you'll be gaining two more lifetimes!
