Alpha Birds eye imagery ?'s
When i upload images to internal hard drive i can see satellite images on handheld but when i try transferring files to memory card an then clearing files on internal hard drive the hand held does not read the memory card ??? should the alpha just read the memory card with files on them or did i transfer the files from internal hard drive of alpha to memory card wrong? any help would be appreciated i have used up dang near all internal memory an i just purchased of 64gb card so i have plenty or memory but must be doing something wrong?
Birdseye
Change to 16gb card 32 & 64 cards too much un-used storage
Remove your sd card from handheld, hook alpha back up to basecamp, go to "file" & transfer the internal birdseye files (maps) from handheld to "my collection"
Now, l would format the sd card before putting it back in the alpha
Now go to basecamp top taskbar & click birdseye, do not make any more maps, your collection should have the maps you have from the handheld
Choose map & file & transfer map to storage not handheld device
If all you are trying to do is view & transfer older maps, l have never tried to load them back to the handheld storage from the sd card, but you can view & download to computer via basecamp

i've seen not get to get over a 32GB card for the alpha d/k if it will make a diff or not. i've got one hook it up to basecamp and it shows up under the alpha belwo the maps stuff, i then select what birdseye i want to send to then just select the map card from that selection.
Micro SD Card
Use 16gb card
32 & 64 cards slows down Astro & Alpha
"Garmin disagrees with this"
I proved the slow reaction (My Alpha) to Garmin techs at Autumn Oaks
