2015 Kansas State Hunt and Show

Location Girard Kansas @ the Crawford County Fair Grounds
Friday April 17th and Saturday April 18th
Sponsored by the Kansas Federation of Houndsmen
Hosted by Mo-Kan CHC

Friday Bench Show Deadline 3:00 pm $15.00 entry
Friday Hunt Deadline 7:00 pm $25.00

Saturday Bench Show Deadline 1:00 pm $15.00 entry
Saturday Peewee Bench Show following Bench Show FREE entry
Saturday Kansas Federation of Houndsmen Spring Meeting 4:00 pm (Bylaws will be voted on)
Saturday Hunt Deadline 7:00 pm $25.00

Both Handler and Owner have to be members of the Kansas Federation of Houndsmen to be eligible for Kansas State Championship Title and Prizes. 10.00 yearly membership. $50 lifetime membership.

Kansas State Hunt Champion will be decided by a one hour hunt off of top four dogs from Friday or Saturday. High Scoring double cast winners from either night will have top positions. If there are not enough double cast winners the highest scoring cast winner from either night will have next available position.

Kansas State Hunt

Looking forward to another State Hunt here in Kansas. This is our 3rd state hunt since reactivating the Federation.

Should be fun. Anyone know for sure they are coming. I will be there both days.

I hope we have a good turn out. Still no one knows if they are coming? I know my kennel partner Matt Noll will be there. Not sure which dog he will hunt but probably our Bluetick Male. We will have a few dogs to show as well. Started working 6 dogs last night.

State Hunt

This is the main fund raiser for the Kansas Federation of Houndsmen. We would like to grow our membership so we can help protect our rights to own and hunt dogs. The club at Girard will put on a professional hunt as they have hosted zone finals several times.
