UKC Customer Service

I called today to put our 2 dogs in the UKC Performance Program & to check on the DNA Kits we ordered weeks ago that have never came, I was on hold for 27 minutes when I hung up. This is pathetic. UKC is really going down hill, if this is how they are going to treat there customers I guess I can keep my money huh.....I have a 30 minute lunch break & oh well...... This would have never happened just a couple years ago.

The main issue I have is that the phone lines are closed before most people get off work making it very difficult to get in touch with someone there.

I think the folks at UKC. probably do the best they can with what they have, BUT its almost 2015, if a ran my business with the same technology we used 20 years ago id be in big trouble. Most all of it can be done pretty simply online with the right software.

I work at a call centre myself. I'm sure UKC is similar to us, busy sometimes with long wait times and not others. Try a different time if day probably have better luck.

I have had great service from Ukc. Never had a problem, I fill my paperwork out correctly and it always comes in a timely manner. If I didn't do my job then I wouldn't expect them to do theirs. Not saying you didn't.

In case some of you don't know or if you know and tend to forget. UKC just doesn't cater to Coonhounds. UKC is an all breed breed registery. Meaning they deal with Working breeds, toy breeds, hound breeds and etc Put your self in there shoes for a minute. They answers 1000's of questions daily about all breeds and events. Give them a break. If you can't get them on the phone.

You can send them a PM and get answer very fast or even post the ? on the message board in the correct section of course and get your questions answered.

i have good luck with ukc, get on your computer and take care of your bussiness, you get on and complain you can do the same for most services i cant stand sittin on hold give them a pm and next time you have time check it out

+1 Good points. If I can get the answer through the message forum on here, that's what I do.

The other day I sent in some paperwork for transfer of ownership. This particular dog was registered with UKC, PKC and CHKC, so I sent my paperwork off the exact same day for all three. I didn't order rush service or anything, just the standard fees related to the paperwork. I got my UKC & PKC papers back the same day while it was at least three weeks before the CHKC papers came in the mail. I wanted to see how they did in getting the paperwork back to me and I am happy to say that both UKC and PKC passed with flying colors.

Customer service

You know its like someone else said. Its just not my beagle or coonhound they have to worry about. They have 10's of thousands of dogs to take care of. But I can say when they are taking care of mine I get great service. Even when Todd Morgan was there and I wanted to call and ruffle his feathers he made time for me. Lol. Everyone up there has been great from Allen, todd, Tanya, and even Jed Nichols while he was there. They all go to work everyday and they are great at what they do.

The phones are super busy today as they were yesterday? Yesterday Customer Service processed 633 calls. Yikes! Current hold time is 7 minutes.

I been dealing with UKC for a lot of years and never had but 1 issue that took time to deal with.
I have never been on hold more than 10 minutes YES THE MUSIC IS CRAPPY.I try to call early and usually get through right away.
Registrations and litter Apps average 14 days from time they are mailed out to UKC til I get them back.

No seriously seeing all these threads about papers not getting back quick enough, I checked the registration message board out of curiosity to see how long it was taking people to get an answer. I see one guy next day shipped his papers on the 4th and he's wanting to know why he doesn't have them back on the 9th after shipping them next day. I don't care if you shoot them to them out of an air cannon NO kc get's papers back to you in five days. I'm honestly not trying to ruff anybody's feathers I'm just pointing out the obvious, and like a couple people previously mentioned I've gotten pretty good service lately from UKC. If I do have a problem i just get on the registration message board, ask for help (curtiously) and get a curtious reply. JMO

Why register your hounds UKC if your that unhappy. I wouldn't. And if your not registering them UKC then why get on here and make comments. I have had awesome expierences with UKC customer service. Received my papers timely, phone calls answered, emails returned, phone calls returned. You name it its been great. You got a problem with them, call them, wait on hold for them and let them know about it. Or don't deal with them.

I called U.K.C. with the same question. Paid performance up in December and wasn't in the Book yet. Was told the DNA results wouldn't be in until Feb.14. Then would be listed. Looks like the dogs listed had already been previous performance sires and already DNAed.
