I believe you are correct...last time I talked to the guy there he said they bought all the remaining stock from Tri-Tronics and that the light was no longer made but that they did have parts if I bought one and needed something.
Back then {about a year ago} I went with the Northern Lights Predator. This is another cordless headlamp and its very bright and very high quality. I got mine from Eisenhutts in West Virginia.

Didn't realize they weren't making the Niterazor anymore. Handy as the pocket on a shirt for anything outdoors in the dark. Wouldn't take a fat, chuckle-headed brindle pup for mine.
