Anyone know what the hunting in the Delta National Forest is like the year?

Should be good. We havent had a lot of rain yet so water shouldnt be an issue. I used to hunt there, but too many people for me these days. Milner,did they change the four wheeler regulations?thanks Jr. Steelman

I had rather hunt TwinOaks ,,,,,I'm comin down there after the 1st of the year. Mr Steelman I got a pup out of your Hybrid dog and a bitch named Southern Dixie. Just started hunting her the past week. Put 4 down on her with my old dog and she's a pull in fur. She'll get a chance here. If you don't mind PM me some info on your dog's huntin style.

Several years ago I rented a cabin over by the Delta from T C Jones.Does anyone know if he or the cabin are still around?

I knew he was getting up in years. He sure knew what a squirrel dog was. There were a couple other guys that I hunted with down there.Dewitt Burns and a guy named Boyd. Do you know them? And if a guy could rent the cabin?

The cabin isn't for rent I'm pretty sure. There are two motels in Rolling Fork one of them is 48 a night I think.

Dewitt has a brother that still hunts down there
