I have to take my hat off ...

To you guys who hunt nearly every night. We were blessed with quite a bit of mild weather here in Michigan. I typically hunt 4 nights a week, but lately with the misses permission and help I have been hunting 6 nights a week.

I have to admit while I am having a bunch of fun I am getting wore out! Between late nights, 6:00 am alarm, and long crazy work days, I am starting to fall asleep after dinner. My plans were to hunt last night and I fell asleep on the couch after dinner, and didn't wake up until it was too late to go.

I guess I just don't have enough gas anymore.

But I have plenty of gas, that actually makes it ALOT easier for my wife to let me go!!!!! But I don't have snuff energy!! Have fun and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Lol, dont feel bad larry, i done that more than once. I try hunt as much as i can, usually at least 4 nights, and thats a bad week. , but your right, between work, dealing with everyday life, and coonhunting its a pretty hefty schedule. Then try to get enough rest to work 5-6 days a week, can catch up with you. Sometimes the body just needs a break. Im still only 40 but starting to feel it sometimes. Lol.

X2. I don't hunt near as hard as I did a year ago with my new job schedule. Sometimes I have to drag myself out of the lazy-boy. Even feel real guilty if I haven't hunt in a few nights, cause in know I need to and I made a commitment to them hounds out back. Once I get going I'm always glad I did. Every time is an adventure for me.
