Tracking Collars

I am planning to buy a Garmin gps track and train type collar for my dog in hare country. Can the average beagle carry one of these units, I have never actually held one in my hands.

Not to bad. The rabbits are on the uptick but finding good places to run is getting tougher and tougher.
