Opinions on a good light

Ok guys I'm looking for a new hunting light and I've been looking at several different ones. I need a light that's pretty bright and will hold charge on a higher setting because I can't see very well in the dark and I hunt in some rough rocky hill Terrain. I haven't decided if I want a hat light or belt light but I'm looking in the 250 to 300 dollar price range I appriciate all opinions thanks guys

I live in Bledsoe County & sell some nice LED lights, if your close come go hunting one night & try one of our lights out, if you like it good & if you don't we will still have a good hunt....
www.smokymtnsupply.com

We also put them on bump caps if you want one fixed like that... Thanks, Biggun

X2

boss hot spot 3d right in your budget for the cap light wich is wat i have and you can decide belt or cap light and you can decide your belt light options and still be close to your price range
i have the cap light and i mainly use the lover setings 60 % of my hunt use it 3-4 hrs a night and charge it after 3 hunts just to be safe i tried to run it down one night on a full charge used the higher setings for 4 hrs coudent do it . light has the red and green in it and you can change your setings on the red and green with the same nob that changes the brightness of the white light. belt light is 79$ more or you can go to the pro pack if you rely want to have a long lasting batery pack and the pro pack is about the size of a garmin 320.. heres you info

I have the Sunfire HD with the color amber. I love it. The battery pack is the size of a pack of cigarettes and weighs about as much too. Personally, I like the battery pack and switch on my belt. I find it easier to reach the switch as my hand is not far away than to reach up over my head or even worse behind my head to fumble with a switch. The belt mount solves all that easily. This light has a very slight yellow tint to the main light that makes things look more natural and easy to see. Many LEDs are so white they almost look bright blue and it obscures some things when you shine them. It can make a coons silvery fur look like the rest of an oak tree branch. You wont notice the yellow tint at all until you shine it next to the light of an LED that don't have it. Like I said, it is very slight but it works good. I use the amber light for walking. Some guys claim that the green light is better for walking and coons will look at the green just as much. Good hunting.

Me personally would stay away from those.
I see you live in Tennessee, Sam Davis at Superior Hunting Lights builds Great lights, he has a website to look at all he builds and sells.
He builds a little 3 LED light you can get all white or a color of your choice, for $200, I have one and it's all the light you need, very bright, lightweight, charge last forever, and Customer Service 2nd to no one. Not a better deal on this board........I have owned a TON of different lights, so far, this is my favorite.....Sam builds lights for Valley Creek and probably others..check them out, you won't be disappointed...........Tim
