A bluetick will win the world hunt

After seeing how well Ginger did in the world hunt and seeing the list of past blueticks who have done well, I am convinced that a bluetick will win it. With just a lucky break in that finale cast, Ginger could have won it. I am also pleased to see how many bluetick enthusiast and other breed supporters got behind Ginger. Go team blue!

WINNING the WORLD

I agree! Just a matter of time and I feel when a Blue gets it done the first time that multiple world hunt wins will follow. Congrats to all the Blues who made it and give it their best shot. Congrats to Ginger for coming so close. As some Walker breeders and owners were cheering her on I could relate because I felt if a Blue couldn't win it I would have cheered on the Walker MR. Clean to repeat. I have never owned anything but a Blue but you can't help but admire a 9 year old hound that still gets it done regardless of what breed it is. Proof that just because OLE BLUE is 7, 8, or 9 years old don't mean he or she can't still get it done. Mr. Clean didn't make the final cast but got close. So lets bring those " OLDER and YOUNGER BLUES" back next year and GITER DONE! Good Luck to All and Good Hunting!

I heard that if his handler could have heard Bo treed off deeper by himself, like the other handlers did, that he would have been the World Champion that year. Any truth to that?

need to have the mindset of not just winning the world hunt, but winning it numerous times

I don't know, is it the egg or the chicken. probally not the best metaphor for the situation.

do u think tiger woods had the mindset of just winning one major first then he would think about winning more?

Ok here's one you might understand --- got to win the Kentucky Derby before you can shoot to win the Triple Crown. It's easy to say your going to win multiple world hunts and what a great goal that is, but to attain that goal you have to get the first one.
Now that the thread is off topic which was not my intended purpose I too would love to see a blue win a world hunt and I am sure it will happen.

With all do resect, Does "you have to win the first title before you can win multiple ones" really need to b said? Doesn't that go without saying

MULTIPLE WINS

Yes you have to get the first one out of the way before MULTIPLE WINS can follow and yes, saying it is easy but actually doing it never was or should never be easy. Championship's in any sport should never be easy or what would be the challenge? When I said I felt like multiple wins would follow and the reason I feel like this is: Once a Blue hound gets that first win the spotlight will shine bright on the breed and draw some new hunters to the breed and also light a fire in some of us tired hunters who maybe had given up hope of it ever happening. With the first one out of the way, renewed determination and new hunters hunting the Blue Hound may mean that the number of blues entered in the hunts go way up so hopefully the win column for them would go up and more would get in the top 100 and therefore increase the odds of a Bluetick winning it multiple times over say the next decade. NEVER said it would be easy, was just dreaming of the day it will actually happen, and it will. I just got in from hunting and the only reason I'm in early and not putting more hunting time on that future UKC WORLD CHAMP in the pen out back is because we are leaving Sunday to come to the FALL ROUNDUP in FLORA to win it next weekend and get our roll started for the Next World Hunt. Had a close encounter with a Cottonmouth Moccasin and got to worrying if my future world champ got bit that it would mess this trip up a little so we came on in. Keep them in the woods guys and girls and TOGETHER WE CAN GET IT DONE. Take Care and Good Hunting!

Yes that is true but something happened and they wouldn't stop to listen while heading to towards other dogs
