You can't go wrong with the Hickory Nut Harry line. Don't look over GRNITECH 'PR' Hobbs' Hardwood Freak Show HTX. I have a pup from him now that is the most independent dog I have seen. The pup is only 18 months old and has 2 wins already. You can get in your truck and come on by and we can go hunting. Do yourself a favor and hunt with these stud dogs first.

History is throwing nice pups on most all crosses. Start early and real independent deep hunters.

Need to know a little bit about your female. Breeding is not all going to come from the stud. Some females and Studs do not match up well.
If you do not want to go thur working on what will might matchup better, than find a Stud that is has alot of the blood of Top reproducers, better said " by the ranking". This would mean look at the dogs and how many have been ranked as high output of coondogs.
Look for #1 as much as you can up tigh. You should not have to go so deep in the ped. maybe 4 generations, no deeper.

This dog is from NC and now in KY, but only a few hours up North. I think one of the best breed on the market right now. Want find any with the ranking of parents, grandparents or great grandparents to match up with. It is pretty hard to be above number 1 like he has twice in parent and grandparent.

Bucky,, I'm sure you can find a stud to match to your female, there a lot of great stud dogs in N.C. ,, History is about an hour from you and Bruizer might be a little closer , but Tim Osborne is a first class guy to deal with and has a nice up and coming stud that I don't know much about ,, But I think we will by the way he is bred. The Warrior Dog is off of the number 1 reproducer in History . I don't Know Robbie Brown and them real good but have talked to them a couple times at the hunts ,and they seemed like stand up guys . and Benny with Leroy, had a friend of mine that started and hunted a Leroy pup and he said he started easy ,and was a nice pup , good luck on finding you the right one ,,
