Clear Creek Kennels "ntch Ky River Rockstar"

I am Clay Schaardt. I strive to produce black and tans with outstanding tracking and treeing ability. I cull hard, and hunt hard. I currently have AT STUD "NTCH CH KY RIVER ROCKSTAR" Rockstar is off of batman and GRNTCH KY RIVER WHISKEY GIRL. Whiskey girl is Stroker Ace's mother. She is out of Cane and Chigger. Rockstar has a bawl mouth on track. Loud dog. He has a big locate and then chop, chop, chop. Anyone could tree him. He doesn't babble. Not a huge dog. About 50 pounds. I will breed him to select females. I would like to hunt with the female before I breed him to her. The female doesn't have to be titled. Want to get a litter or two on the ground out of him. Come go hunting with him. You will like what you see! He finished to NTCH with three first place wins. He won two other casts, but not enough for a NTCH win. He has lost one cast at black and tan days. Pretty consistent dog also very accurate. He will tree coon by himself or with others. Likes to sit deep and lonely with a coon. He is only 18 months old. He is bred to reproduce. Lets see if he will! Located in SE Nebraska. Can house your female for a week or two to be bred. Stud fee is $250. I will try to get some pictures and videos up sometime.

He will be finished to GRNTCH next spring. A couple wins will come this fall. I finished him to a show champion two weeks ago, so this make him a DUAL CH.

I have an ace bred female off of GRNTCH Tree Banging Bo that will be bred to Rockstar when she comes in. I also have a female I purchased from Dean Miller that is off of Rebel that will be bred to either ROCKSTAR or BTTB TEX when she comes in. Both females are nice in the woods, and I invite you to come hunt with them or Rockstar. I have some good crosses lined up guys. The females will both be finished to NTCH at least, and maybe even GRNTCH. One is already a show champion and the other has wins toward show champion. Clay Schaardt 402-862-5903. Come for a hunt.

A Coon Hound

I guess no one wants to breed to a coonhound. All they want to do is buy one! I'm not going to sell Rockstar for those that have inquired. He may be put in some CHKC hunts this winter, but probably not any UKC hunts until next spring. Going to show him this weekend as a CH male. The ace bred female off of BO will be showed as a CH female also and she will be hunted in the open hunts this weekend. I am also going to be showing a pup off of GRNTCH KLEPTO'S KIDD this weekend. She will be finished out to show champion and is for sale for $300. She has treed by herself once, and with other dogs 4-5 times. She has only been in the woods 8 times. Any questions on any dogs, call me at 402-862-5903. I will be at the KS STATE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP on Saturday. Hope to see some of you there.

Give it time buddy,you will get him breed to some females.one problem is that people can breed to his father still.once finished your dog will get more interest.dont get yourself worked up,helps to if you have him performanced.best of luck to you.

No Luck at all

I didn't have any luck this weekend in the show or the hunt. Just showed and hunted my ace bred dog. She had circle points Friday night, and if we would have seen the coon, I could have won my cast. Saturday I had a dead cast. Rockstar will be performanced and ss next year. If I have any interest the rest of this year he will be performanced. Just come and hunt and see for yourself at what he can do.

BTT. Got a CHKC hunt in December that I will put Rockstar or one of these females in. Females need to come into heat, and I will breed em to Star. Pups will then be for sale around Black and tan days if we can get a litter on the ground in time.

I've erased his momma n the hunts several times she put it on the ol walker dogs I was hunting made me convert over to the black side now. Whisky girl was a coon dog. And wat I've seen out of the batman pups they r as well.

Thanks! You should get a pup from Star! I can hook you up. They are $300 whenever there is a litter. No litters now, but there will be. Where are you from? I am sending two pups off of him from future litters to Aaron Gray and Seth Wimpey.

Rockstar is looking good! Hoping to make some noise at black and tan days with him. I will make him a performance sire if someone wants to breed to him. Same with a superstakes sire. The female I own that is named NTCH PR TREE JAR'N LUCY (4 wins to GRNTCH) will be bred to star when she comes in. She should come in during May. These pups will be some winners if they get in the right hands. Look me up at black and tan days. If I can find someone to take me pleasure hunting on Wednesday, I would maybe let someone else come with to see Rockstar go in the woods. My number is 402-862-5903.

I will also have a pup out of GRNTCH BASTEANS MO BLACK SMOKEY and her momma is a tige female. I will take $350 out at black and tan days. She is started on caged coon and will go nuts over one.
I also have a 2 1/2 year old female out of GRNTCH CHENOWETH'S REBEL and a NTCH ace bred female. She is a well started dog. Runs some trash. Comes into heat regularly. She mills too much around the tree for me, but she is fast and a competition style dog. $500.

Will be there on Wednesday afternoon til Sunday morning.

These dogs are bred and trained by three main people. Micah and Shane Ayers and Tony Grubbs. They are in Kentucky, but I don't exactly know where. They all go back to Tony's dog KY RIVER CHIGGER.
