has the rules for this been published?

hearing stuff that is not good and goes against the breed association rules.

need some more info

I have blue ticks and walkers but the only people that don't like the idea are pretty much the blue tick breeders but I'm all for it

Im hearing that if they look like bluetick, can register cross breed and then participate in events as a bluetick. if the assoc says no single reg (cross bred) then why it UKC over ruling breed assoc? and if true, why should my full blooded ones have to compete against the cross breds? any way just looking for clarification from UKC before conflicts starts.

A dog must be 80% of a certain breed before it is eligible be registered as that breed. The way I understand , it will still be up to the breed association whether to except the dog or not. A dog registered as a Crossbreed will not be allowed to compete in
the bench shows at all

X Bred

It can be confusing but consider them X Bred and not X Breed or cross Breed. They are a category and not a breed.

None are eligible for single registering in a breed. They can be single registered as X Bred. Litters can be registered as X bred if they are from 2 different registered coonhound breeds and there papers will show the ancestry from what they are from. X Bred dogs can not compete in shows. They are eligible to compete in field trials, water races and hunts.
