Jeff Driggs has a male from Minny and amous his hunting buddy ralph has one also.Talked with Curt Driggs about which one as he has hunted with both. Will breed her to Jeffs dog.I had a littermate to these males i called eazy that was impressive, ran over.I am going this route because i have hunted with four generations of these hounds, starting with the becky female coming from Pauls kennel. They were good dogs that treed real live racoons.

John

I never hunted with Misty yet but I've hunted with ole Becky, Little Bit and Dave's Amous dog. All "COON DOGS". Congrats on finishing her and good luck if you make the cross. Stay in touch.

Ron

CONGRATULATIONS

CONGRATULATIONS John. John I am looking foward to you getting your fine female bred. I loved the Amous dog and he was sure a good one. His littler mates were also good ones. Andy and Max. There were only two males in the cross you are talking about if I remember right and 7 females. Jeff brought her 3 tmes and I had to hold them together and she had nine pups I believe. The dogs were barking a lot at the kennel so Jeff wanted to walk out to the woods to breed his female. That was a mistake as Amous wouldn't even look at her out there. Just wanted loose so we had to come back to the kennel to breed her.LOL! I will post a picture sometime on here of Amous. Tom Johnson of walker fame hunted with Amous every night one season and we caught a lot of coon ( I believe 130 ) and he said Amous was the best Dam big Blue dog he ever hunted with. Dave P.S. If I still had Amous I sure would breed both of my fine females to him....Buried him in my Wick hunting Jacket.

Dave,
I still remember the hunt Tim and I took with Amous. I was very impressed with what I saw. Sure wish ole Cassie would have took when we breed her to him, I would have still been hunting one of those pups from that cross. Hope to see soon my friend. Have a great day.

Ron
