Liberty-Kingston Il coonhunters?

Hey folks. Just moved to the area for work. I have a pair of walkers and do alot of pleasure hunting. Would like to try out competition hunting. I just bought a house in kingston and lookin for fellow connhunters.

May be a dumb ? But im a newbie at comp stuff. What is rqe and do you have a schedule of all your events on this site?

RQE stand for Regional Qualifying Event. Place in this event and you qualified for the 2014 UKC world Championship. This next weekend is the last weekend (Aug. 23rd) to qualify.

What do you have to have to compete in that hunt? Pre-qualify in a regular hunt or can you just show up and pay fees and hunt?

Just show up and enter. All dogs are drawn out together and hunter under championship rules. So you might hunt against Gr.Nt. or Nt.Ch or open dogs.
If you place then you will have to pre enter for the Zone hunts that are all around the country. You can pick which zone you want to hunt at. This will be the middle of Sept.
