garmin alpha update

updated my alpha last night and it dropped all the collars that were paired to it. im pretty sure its been updated before and didnt do it then. is this common and nothing to worry about or could there be a problem. i updated it because the map wasnt showing up when it was turned on,updated it and the map is loading fine
