Jenks Red POLLY and Old Time Grit BEAST

I had one of those super fun hunts last night with these 2 young hounds, so I thought I would share:

Polly and Beast are full littermate Brother and Sister,
also full littermates to Butterbean and Butch's young
dog they call All Night Joker. Beast belongs to
Deon and Cole Collins, of Dawson Springs, KY. Ive been
huntn him and Polly the last couple months, and last
night they struck this coon on high ground and pushed
it down to the creek.
As you can see from the picture of the track, the coon
crossed the creek and at first they were hesitant about
crossing it. Back and Forth! LOL

BUT, They're is NO quit in either of these dogs, and sure
enough they managed to find away across and finish the track.
Needless to say they had a much easier time of crossing
the creek then I did. The lakes spillway is about a half mile
downstream, and I guess they had let some water out
because the water was up pretty high.

Here's a video of them at the tree if you are interested.
It was a fun hunt, definently one that I will remember.

Wish I could show you the fur, but its not time yet.
Man I love this new technology!
Keep em Red Guys!! Happy Huntn!

Good work Bret

You are one tough, (old school hunter). Keep them in the timber. Come up, and we will take a hunt, anytime. Joker has been doing some winning in competition. Butterbean let another fine young man have half interest in Joker, The man`s name is Dan Cochran. (George Dolittle`s grandson), from Michigan.

Brett,,, I am glad your enjoying those fine hounds that is truly what this sport is about. My Grandpa use to tell me this "saying" all the time when he was here on earth.... Son if your not enjoying what you are doing then you must not be doing it right.......
