I'd be more concerned with how the shots were handled rather than the price. If they aren't kept refrigerated they are no good.I bought mine from a local vet.Jmo

Check with Jeffers. They have web site to order online. They will ship them 2nd day delivery with ice packs and a small insulated bag. I have used them before and never had any problems.

X3
Get a bad batch that weren't kept to temperature and you'll really regret it. Gets expensive

you can order from Jeffers and do next day air with cooler and extra icepack. Ice packs will still be cold when you get it.

JEFFERS VET SUPPLY

We have used them for years. No Problems. If you order Single Shots it comes with Syringe. If you order in bulk of 25 (which is what we do for multiple doses until pups get permanent dose at 4 months) you'll need to order syringes. We order them in bulk just to have syringes when needed for other uses. If you order early in the day or morning they may come in one day. We live in Ga. they are in Ala. so the order comes pretty quick. I pay for one extra Ice Pack just a dollar or 2 extra. especially in warmer months. I make sure I'm home when UPS comes. And refrigerate them asap. 1-800-JEFFERS.

They are all going to be around the same price and most any local farm type store will carry them. They get shipped to them in ice packed coolers so the is no concern over the spoiling.

7 ways

They are being replaced with 9 ways! All 7 ways should be out of the market place by now! If TSC has 7 ways be sure to check experation date! I always have mine sent next day air over the years and never had a problem. They ship them in cooler container with ice packs and it works fine. Look to pay alot more for the new 9 way shots, single dose is over $7.00 per shot,$11.95 at TSC!! I always use 2 doses of 5 ways,6 and 9 weeks old and then a 9 way at 12 weeks and a pup should always have thier last shot after the age of 16 weeks old!

My research always led me to a company called Foster and Smith being the cheapest place to order shots. They ship them next day air with ice packs around them and if they aren't still cold to the touch when you get them, (which happened once) they will let you return them and ship you new ones free!

Have been using Foster & Smith for a few years now. Jeffers is also a good company. They ship direct to your door, so you don't have to worry about the shots getting warm before they are put in the refridge at the feed and farm supply stores.

Posted by John D on 08-04-2014 05:17 PM:

I've bought from Jeffers and foster smith. This is the same place the vets buy them from so you will get it cheaper and fresher than from a Vet.

The only drawback is a lot of the vaccines come in 25 dose lots. So, it takes a large litter or a couple litters to make it worthwhile.

When does the CDC/Vets reccomend thay you give shots now? I read somewhere that a pup should get immunity from there mother that lasts until they are 8 weeks old and you shoudn't vaccinate them before that. I think that I also read that you should give their vaccinations at 3 mos, 6 mos and 12 mos but I can't remember exactly what the article said.

Cheap vaccinations?????
Do a search for this...www.newvaccinationprotocols.com......
I found it very interesting. I skimmed the first couple of pages and then forwarded over to the pages about dog vaccination protocols. Apparantly, all brands of vaccinations are not the same. Some brands of vaccinations may not be that effective. Another interesting fact is that Rabies vaccinations are good for 3-7 yrs. And there are several different types of "tick fever": Lymes, Erlichia, Rocky Mountain Spotted and a couple more. According to them, when you give the vaccination depends on which vaccination that you are giving. It is way more complicated than just giving a "shot".
