YOU MIGHT TRY

Wiping Out Washer Drum with and Old T-Shirt or Old Towel. Then do a full wash with some Dish Detergent & Maybe some bleach. Hot Water Cycle.

Dawn dish soap. It really cuts oil/grease

.

Just be careful with Dish Detergent as it makes a lot of bubbles. I did that once in my dishwasher and had a kitchen full of bubbles. Washer would probably be a little different but I would keep a close eye on it, especially after the mess I had to clean up in the kitchen one night.

Spray it with Goo-B-Gone

My mom always put amonia in with dad's greasy work clothes. Claimed it cuts the grease.
Maybe try running a load of soapy water with amonia.

idea

I use oxy clean on my hands and arms. Works better than dawn and professional hand cleaners. Use hot water and that stuff. Rub the powder on the drum of the washer. It will work.... oxy clean heats up when i use it on my skin. Probably shouldn't use o skin but it works fast.

I wash greasy coveralls from time to time. I always just add more clothes soap and rewash the load again. Then I wash dark clothes. Always works fine for me.

I'm a mechanic for a living. We use a soap made by the same company that makes hand soap like zeps I've also put a load of clothes in the machine with two cans of coors light on top of the load. This works real good.
