Just wondering

I have always wondered you take a young good blooded dog somebody really competes with them wins a lot because they are really a good dog advertises them heavily they breed a few females at two years old the young dogs are really turning out good and then it just cools off next thing you know the dog is 11 or 12 years old cant breed real well anymore and people are running over each other to breed why don't they use them while they are young

I'm no expert but I have researched into several walker stud dogs.I tried to go for a hunt with some of the stud owners pups to see why the stud was throwing.I tried and called multiple guys to see there pups in action.Never happened.I kinda got the feeling there wasn't much to show.So it seems to me a lot of these studs arnt proven to the public till there up in years. The dozen or so dogs I have hunted with in the hunts or just pleasure hunting out of the top walker studs weren't very impressive.jmo
