Bear hunting

Just wondering if anybody could tell me the best breed walkers too run bear and catch consistently that can drive a track I'm not up too date on the recent breeds I used too run Yadkin river that had speed but I'm interested in a flat track driving fast breed of hounds that has good brains I've been running grade dogs and not having much luck lately

there is no right answer or better answer to that question. Every body has there opinion and that is what you will get for an answer. The best answer I have seen for this question is "talk to the people that hunt in your region of the country and get some dogs or pups from them. they will usually be cheaper (not paying to ship) and it might take a few tries to get what YOU are looking for not what somebody else says YOU should use."
I personally like the stuff with finley river in it. My wife hates finley river dogs( at least the ones we have had).
