My sister was recently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Further testing has revealed that the cancer has not spread, which the Dr. said was a miracle due to the amount of cancer she has in her breasts and the location. She has been told that this is something that she can beat but that it will be a very long and hard road. She is having to make a lot of trips back and forth to Indianapolis (3 hrs) and Evansville (little less than an hour) After the chemo and radiation she will have a removal and then there will be a series of shots that the insurance will not cover.
I am considering hosting a benefit hunt at our local club to help with covering some of these costs. The less that she has to worry about the more energy she can spend on fighting the cancer and raising her kids.
I am seeking donations for a prize package and or raffle. The hunt would probably be the early part of September. I am just trying to gauge what kind of support there would be for something like this. Anything would help. I wouldn't want anything yet until I am sure that there would be enough to offer a good prize package.
If anyone is interested in contributing please reply or PM me. If you cannot contribute please keep her in your prayers.
Also any ideas from people who have done this sort of thing are appreciated.

southforkwalker do an online auction on here that way you have more people bidding on the items you have. start with a studs, pups, and other items donated to the auction. just an idea.
