National Redbone Days

Is anyone going to be there? It sounds like everyone went to American Days and the only people that will be there are the ones from Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Northern Indiana. It looks like gas will be more than $4.00/gal for the 4th of July weekend. It is 620 miles from Chattanooga, Tn to Bellevue, Mi or 31 gals of gas or $250 to get there and back home. I guess that I had better go to the bank and take out a loan.

I thought that ARD was "the big one" but I missed seeing you there. I did get to see part of your team, though.

And don't you have your own oil well in your back yard? If I swing by there, could I fill up with gas?

I went to the Wal-Mart yesterday and got my oil changed, got a new air cleaner, got some new spark plugs and filled up with gas for $3.19/gal.

Angry We can't go

We won't make it to NRD this year, we are having a very busy summer. Sure hate to miss it. Michigan is a great place to coonhunt. Usually cools off nice at night, even in July. Usually lots of coon up there too. Those of you that can go, enjoy it.

Sounds like coon hunting paradise.

Will there be a pup cast or casts on Thursday night this year?

Not going

I don't think I will make it this year. It will be the first year in a long long time that I didn't make either American Days or National Days. Good luck too all who enter and have a great time.
If some one would nominate King Richard for President for me I would appreciate it. Also I was wondering if any board members have a list of the pre-approved motions . If not the meeting should be a short one. LOL.

All in fun everyone , have a great weekend.

Wouldn't be so bad, but they live about 20 miles away and they think I should come up a couple times a week. lol

So can an oldtimer hunt a pup? It says that the only stipulation is that the pup must be less than 2 yrs old. Can you hunt a Nt Ch or Gr Nt Ch in the pup hunt if they aren't 2 yrs old yet?

Mr Steffes, I sent you a PM. Give me a call...423-605-3757. How much is a gallon of gas now?

Only 2 more days and I can't wait. I am going to the bank Monday to borrow some money and then leaving Tuesday morning. I hope that all of you Northerners (Yankees) have your tree dogs ready by now. Us poor hillbilly rebels don't stand a chance. Y'all won't have any excuses this time. It is being held in your back yard with plenty of coons and the leaves on. But it should be a great time whoever wins.

I just checked the weather report.....Highs of 72-80 and lows of 55-60 with no rain. I don't think that you could ask for anything better.

What is on the pre-approved agenda. I remember that anything brought up and voted on must be on this pre-approved agenda beforehand. But I am unclear as to how items get on this agenda. Who do you submit them to? How far ahead of the meeting do they have to be submitted? Who "approves" them? How do we, the general membership, know what the approved agenda is?
I looked for the answers in the by-laws of my Redbook but I couldn't find anything about a pre-approved agenda..

Richard bring skeeter spray they are all most big enough to carry this ole fat man away.got in from hunting at 6 this morning and I thought I was going to have to go and get a blood transfusion.

Lows are now 51-55. I guess that I had better pack a jacket. Maybe it will be too cold for those skeeters to be out. I wonder what the scores will look like up there? Only 1 more day, I can't wait.

Posted by Tbaker on 07-01-2014 01:17 PM:

Skeeters & Scores-

Both should be in the high numbers, we have had a lot of rain.
More coon than most places. I would be willing to bet it will take 1200 or better to be high score.
