MI. bear bait

probably i should contact the michigan dnr..but will start here.
does anyone know how the dnr are classifying "granola" when it is used as bear bait.
is it considered a grain, or a bakery/confectionary product?
i would be using it in the red oak area(northern lower).

You can use as much granola as you want, just make sure it's inaccessible to deer & elk.
