what a hunt is suppose to be like!!!

guys i had a good hunt to night. 3 dog cast and the guys i hunted with were the best group of guys you could ask for. all night long!! nobody was trien to screw the other. finding coons for each other. laughed and picked at each other!! had a great time. watched some good dog work and at the end i come up short but left happy and feeling like a winner. shook the guys hand when his dog located and i knew id been beat by the better hound!! this is what its about. good honest people letting their dog do the talkin.

Most clubs have good and bad, I think most guys mean well, just may take things to seriously.
I've had similar experiences in fishing the local bass fishing tourneys. Some guys are more interested in building a name for themselves, then building friendships and learning from each other.

How about some details?
Names , dogs(breeds) , how many coons , etc. ?
Sounds like a good time !

We had a ,kc hunt last weekend myself ,bob Mcintosh,Brett hare and brad we scored on four coon we saw 7 coon and three of the dogs split with there own and tree together on one and had another circle tree where they were all tred together !! No track any dog worked the whole night was any good but they all got the job done and parked with the grease!!! Great buch of guys and no questions no problems and it could have been anybody's cast down to the end!! Sorry that these casts like with are the exception and not the rule! But they make them worth going again!! Glad to see some good casts and good sportsmanship is still alive !!

That's what it's supposed to be like!!! I tell everyone that a good cast is as much fun as you can have.

Most, not all, of the casts I've hunted have been good ones. I've probably been going to hunts longer than many of you have been alive and have had some BAD ones. If the good casts that are in a minority, then maybe you should be looking in the mirror.
