not much timber up that way i live 2 hrs away i do know some coon hunters up there closest club is kenny il

Look up Jerry Bates in Mt Zion Il he has a gun shop there

Thanks Jim. Got a partner coming up to work on a pipeline construction job. Needs a place to kennel a couple of dogs and a place to hunt. Hard hunter and will go most every nite. A+ pup starter!

I agree that Jerry Bates is a good guy to call. He has the gun/hunting supply shop in Mt. Zion. He can't really go to the woods any more but he would sure like to have someone to go with. Told Dad he'd like to find a guy to hunt with. Jerry could show him the spots and sit in the truck. He'd probably have a decent dog or two for the guy to handle if he'd like to. Jerry's usually looking for a handler.
