I will not buy another pup if it's not ukc performance eligible.Superstaked is not as important except for resale.I will never go to SS and prolly even a regular Pkc hunt.Jmo
JUST WANTING WHAT PEOPLE FELT ABOUT PERFORMANCE PUPS AND OR SUPER STAKES VERSES BOTH.THE SIRE IM USEING IS SUPER STAKES SIRE BUT IT DONT MATER TO ME I FEEL THE SAME WAY AS U DO ABOUT THE OTHER KC...

If you wanna sale them you better care cause if i was buying a pup it would have to be pkc ss and ukc pp. And i know im not the only one that feels that way!!

EVERYONE HAS THERE PERFERENCE AND JUST MAY DO THE SUPERSTAKES THING BUT IT IS JUST MORE MONEY FOR EVERYONE AND A LONG SHOT TOO,NOT SURE ITS WORTH IT.

If you are breeding top hounds and making crosses that should better the breed !! Proven females !! Then it's not very smart not to ss and per them,,, !!!! I won't own one that's not ss and per !! But if it's a brood female are just breeding some reg female to the flavor of the month then chances you won't get that special pup needed to accel!!! You get what you pay for. Most of the time!!
Proven or not $kc is a huge money pit.I SS and performanced the litter I just had.Sold the pups to hard working pleasure hunters that don't have time to run to these big hunts.Think is cost me $40 to DNA profile my female and $60? To just nominate the litter.Eiether way if your breeding CoondogXCoondog it will all come out in the wash.Goodluck
Id take a free one maybe if it was not SS. Pretty much worthless around here if they are not. I wouldn't care if it even had ukc papers period but its nice to have everything.

Well I will take that money pit cause when you breed good dogs that produce and get them in hunters hands it pays off very well every year in performance Checks !!! And unless you are raising and keeping the whole litter for your self then your propably going to want to sell a few to recoupe some of your investment and trying to get rid of pups that aren't ss and per was like selling a grade dog 15 years ago!!!!jmo. And you don't have to go to big hunts to get paid in performance that happens at the local level Aswell !! And most people that down the other kc just don't have the power to compete over there !!
I will tell you this, and it is what I tell everyone.....if you are making a cross that you truly believe in to improve on what you are hunting, improve the breed and help others that buy pups from the cross then do the pups a service by making them eligible for the maximum they can be!!! It will help you as far as selling them, starting them and reselling them and others doing the same. It would be a shame to not make them eligible and one or more of them turn out and the pup not have the opportunity to compete in the hunts he or she could just for a few dollars per pup!!! JMO.......
