Finally Got Around To Buildin My New Above Ground Kennel Today!!!

Me and a buddy of mine built me an above ground kennel similar to the ones toecutter has. That's where I got the idea from I just tweaked mine a little bit and made some changes. I put the top of the floor 3' of the ground and cut my 8' posts of to 6' posts. I wanted it to be a little shorter. I also put my for boards solid with no gap 2' from the dog house and then went with a 1" gap inbetween my boards. I also opted to use 1"x 3" boards for my floor. I made a platform on the back with plywood for my doghouse and made a 1 piece solid period door in the front. I may add a second smaller door right at his house or of wire and 2"x4"s just in case.

The only thing I have left to do is put the wire on in the morning sometime. We just got back from catfishin on the ol´ Pigg River and I'll probably sleep a lil late in the mornin. But anyways I'm super excited about gettin Duece in his new kennel and out of his lot on the ground. It'll be so much cleaner no mud, no dirt, no shovelin poop, alot healthier for him as well. I would like to post pics of it when I get it done but I can't figure out how, is there any body out there I can text a pic to and post it for me. Thanks guys gave a goodun

You have to save them to a computer and upload them to a host site I use Photobucket then just paste the link from your pic in your comment and it will show up here.

Yeah man, I had seen what you had posted about pics after I had posted. Same here man, Glad to see you have a since of humor also. It was all in good fun. What's life if you can't cut up and have a good time? When we hunt we joke, cut up, and rip on each other just a little bit. No one I hunt with takes offence to it and we all know it's all in good fun. We always have a blast hunting together. I wouldn't want it any other way. I think to many people get offended to easy now a days, life is meant to be happy and not everyone is out to get you. There are still good people out there, But they are few and far between.

Yea I got a buddy I hunt with regularly and we always pick and get into a good argument at least once a day. He picks and tells every body yea I love ol´ Trey I gotta have him in my life and tells every body we have to have at least one good argument a day or it aint complete lol. It's all in good fun man. I always joke and prank around when I get to know ya. He hunts English and bluetick now and I hunt walkers and he always says yu want me to get yu a can of blue spray paint and I say yes itd be quicker to haul yur dog around in a wheel Bastille than let him run lol. We always carry on some kinda junk. We get in some pretty heated debates sometimes but we laugh about it when we're done

HAHAHA, That's crazy man. The guy I was talking about hunt's bluetick's and has a English pup and dad and I hunt walker's. He's always asking us if we bought any blue spray paint yet. We always rip on him about his bootick being the best possum hound east of the Mississippi. His female just had pups Sunday. I asked him what he was gonna do with all them white Bluetick's.....LOL telling him that one of the walker's had got with her. Without missing a beat he said I guess I'll have to buy me some blue spray paint man....

I just butted green treated 2x6"s against one another and when they dried it left about a 1/8" to 1/4" gap in them. Didn't want the waste going under it to where I couldn't get to it to get rid of it.
